Cheers Freak A Chu
I will take that advice with me when i check some of the amps out at Electro.
The idea of the fat Tele is definitely something i am considering. I saw a spec list and picture of one in the Fender catalogue and it looks like the kind of thing that is ideal for the sound im after.
Cheers again for everyones advice

That looks cool enough, I like the idea of a half open half sealed speaker cab loads.
But for ?748 I can't help thinking that you could get a better deal second hand. Hell for ?800 you could get a JCM800 full stack, not that you really need anything above a 2x12 for gigs round here never mind 8x12!

one of our amps is a battred hh combo (vox ac30 size) it was cheap as fukk and i is the best amp i have ever heared. the reverb is fucked in a way that makes clangly plate reverb sounds. (fukkin Ace)

the only amp ive got is a pocket amp with choice of both on and off switches and a wide array of volume ranging from loud to quiet. i just clip it to my trousers and play the guitar in the park annoying people. I'd advise against buying one.

Whats the best pedal for a nice tight distortion but not too heavy. Also needs to have a really light distortion
And any other tasty effects
I dont like the big bank type boards, id prefer to get them individually

i love my jackhamer, but all the marshall series are good, especially the old ones, or an ibanez tube screamer?
or a visual sound route 66
